Allison is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who started working in the counseling field in 2018. She has experience in a range of diverse areas that include individual and group therapy in the outpatient and partial hospitalization programs for individuals with co-occurring mental health and addiction. In her years working with clients, Allison has gained experience in the outpatient therapy setting, where she can provide individual therapy to individuals with trauma, mood and personality disorders, anxiety, depression, stress, and other challenges that are uncovered during the therapeutic process. In 2023, she decided to transition into private practice after gaining her LPC to continue providing therapy to teens, young adults, and adults in the community.
Allison utilizes evidence-based techniques with a person-centered focus tailored to each individual and their unique needs. She understands taking the jump to share personal issues may seem daunting, however, she is dedicated to creating a safe, warm, and supportive environment for her clients to feel comfortable to create goals that ignite a happier, healthier life.
She holds the following credentials:
- Obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Kutztown University in 2016.
- Obtained Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2020
- She became a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in 2023
- She holds a certification from the National Board of Certified Counselors
