Jackie Prince, LSW is a licensed social worker who has been working in the human services and behavioral health field since 2020. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families and is committed to creating a space where people feel safe, supported, and at ease.
Jackie began her clinical work in crisis intervention, supporting individuals and families during some of their most stressful and unpredictable moments. She provided on-site assessments, helped people through immediate concerns, and worked closely with medical providers, county systems, and community partners. This experience shaped Jackie’s calm, grounded style and her ability to stay steady and present when things feel overwhelming.
Over the years, Jackie has worked in a range of settings, including outpatient therapy, foster care, and integrated healthcare. She has supported clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, chronic pain, and life transitions. Jackie enjoys working with children and families and believes in partnering with caregivers and other professionals to support each client in a thoughtful, well-rounded way.
Jackie has a strong focus on trauma work and is EMDR trained. Her approach is trauma- informed and strengths-based, drawing from EMDR, cognitive and mindfulness-based strategies, and somatic-informed techniques. She believes therapy works best when it feels collaborative, flexible, and respectful of each person’s pace.
Jackie strives to offer a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients of all ages can feel comfortable being themselves. She understands that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially for those who have experienced trauma, and she takes care to move at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
Jackie believes that healing is possible, even when things feel heavy or unclear. Her goal is to help clients build resilience, self-understanding, and a stronger connection to themselves while feeling supported along the way.
